Eligibility for MBS

Students applying for admission to MBS course must have successfully completed the BBS programme or a bachelor degree on any discipline from Tribhuvan University or from any other university recognized by Tribhuvan University.

MBS degree pursuing students are required to appear in the entrance test (CMAT) conducted by the Tribhuvan University. Students who secured a minimum 40% in the CMAT exam will be enrolled following an interview.

Eligibility for BBS

Students applying for the admission in BBS Program should have passed intermediate or equivalent degree in any discipline with English (100 Full Marks) and Economics (100 Full Marks) or Mathematics (100 Full Marks).

Application Forms

Applicants should enclose the following documents:

• A certificate of intermediate or equivalent degree in commerce or Plus Two having at least 50% of the aggregate marks.
• Equivalent, Transfer, Character and Original Migration Certificates.
• Students with non-commerce background should have studied English, Economics or Mathematics as a full paper at Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) or Plus Two.
• A passport size photograph.

Entrance Test:

Applicants will have to appear at the Entrance Test designed to evaluate the abilities for the program as per Tribhuvan University (T.U.) rules and regulations.

Selection and Registration

Selection of the students will be based on the applicant's previous academic performance, interview and other eligibility criteria for admission. The list of selected students will be placed on the college notice board.

The selected students should have their names registered by the registration deadline.

Eligibility For BA

Students who have passed I.A., I.Com., I.Sc, I.Ed, HSEB +2 Examination or any equivalent examination by Tribhuvan University (T.U.) will be eligible to apply for the B.A. admission.

Admission Procedure

• Applicants must submit the following documents with their application forms which are available at the Reception counter: Equivalent, Transfer, Character and original migration certificates. Incase they are not available immediately these documents must be submitted later as soon as possible.
• A passport size photographs.

Entrance Test

Those BA students who have been admitted in United College will have to appear at the Entrance Test designed by Tribhuvan University (T.U.) with a view to assess their ability for B.A. studies.

B.A. students have practical examination and must prepare field reports based on fieldwork, in subjects like:

Journalism / Mass Communication and Sociology / Anthropology

Fieldwork and study trips are arranged every year by the subject teachers in accordance with convenient time place and situation.

B.A. students are further informed of the college practice that regular tutorial, subject seminar classes are held by subject teachers in order to increase and assess comprehension critical understanding and expression skills of the students. Such classes are included in their regular timetable.
