A viable guidance program is central to effectiveness of a school. Students are the focal point of the basic guidance services provide. Although teachers, administrator and parents all benefit from the guidance services, the basic purpose of the guidance program is to increase a student's feeling of satisfaction, belongingness, identification and achievement in both present and projected life situations. With this objective in mind the Guidance department of United School is established to help students driving towards cultivating positive behavior in them so that they make proper adjustments with the environment in which they are living and also make the best possible contributions commensurate with one's strengths and limitations. The areas where students need guidance are as follows:

- Guidance helps every individual to understand own self, to make the most of his capabilities and interests, to make effective adjustments with the environment and to develop ability to solve his problem independently.
- Develops certain qualities like dedication, sincerity, devotion, positive outlook, and respect for views for other in each individual which are essential to him for making significant contribution.
- Helps in achieving positive mental health and improving personal effectiveness.
- Helps in assisting students to draw up their own plans of academic and non academic pursuits and arrive at right decision to implement the plan and find solutions to the problem.
